On Monday, Cisco unveiled six new services and cloud-based security solutions constructed with security in mind, particularly at the points of connection that users traverse on a network.

Meanwhile, a Cisco-sponsored IDC research reveals that many customers are already embarking on the journey to a digital-ready network, with the percentage of net customers planning to implement software-delivered, automation-capable networks to become thrice in the coming two years from 13 to 44 percent. The Umbrella Branch, Stealthwatch Learning Network License, and Meraki MX Security Appliances with AMP and Threat Grid are solutions which are part of Cisco’s Digital Network Architecture (DNA) solution. For example, when considering cloud vendors, many companies base their decisions on both security and reliability. It works by analyzing and identifying malicious traffic and data on the network device to provide protection against immediate threats.

Finally, Cisco’s Meraki MX Security Appliances with AMP and Threat Grid will make it simpler to deploy and manage advanced threat protection capabilities. Expert advisers recommend security strategies and provide tailored solutions based on industry trends and vital business needs to achieve agility, innovation and growth. This makes it a very cumbersome process for organizations while leaving them more vulnerable to the online threats.

Cisco is also relying on its channel partners to play a strategic role in helping its customers build and manage their security infrastructures. It could therefore set a new benchmark for the security industry going forward.
