So naturally, Florida laid another egg against Alabama in its biggest game of the season. Florida needs to have more and better designed runs for Harris instead of his unsuccessful scrambling. They had only one offensive touchdown in those two loses, and this UM defense is probably better than FSU’s and maybe as good as Alabama’s. Taylor has been a true bell cow for the Gators this season as he has 51% of the teams rushing attempts, 59 percent of their rushing yards, and 68 percent of their rushing touchdowns.
There were some questions surrounding how effective Rudock would be after he was knocked out of Michigan’s regular-season finale against Ohio State with a left shoulder injury. He could not have played a more flawless game, scrambling when he didn’t have a play down field, being smart throwing the ball and making veteran decisions.
The second half was dominated by MI. But he flipped the ball to Harris for the touchdown. He was named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press…. versatile defensive back Jabrill Peppers can be spotted just about anywhere in the MI formation as a safety, slot defender and linebacker, as well as on kick returns, punt returns, at running back and at wide receiver…. Nevertheless, Florida has no choice but to try to use one of its best players and pound it.
This game is going to be an all-out defensive war.
