City aren’t the best team in the title race, says Claudio Ranieri

Sidelined since April last year with a serious knee injury, the 25-year-old England striker came off the bench to head in Mesut Ozil’s last-ditch free-kick and give the hosts a dramatic 2-1 win.

The Foxes held a slender lead at the interval, but two second-half goals for the Gunners – including one in the fifth minute of added time – was enough to seal the points.

The win pushed Arsenal up to second for a few hours but Tottenham overtook them after a 2-1 win at fourth-placed Manchester City in the day’s late match.

“I don’t know where they go, Dubai maybe?” I think we would have won if it had been 11 versus 11.

Spurs are now placed two points behind Leicester City at the top of the table, and they have performed above all expectations so far this campaign.

But the German defender suggested his side was due a bit of good fortune after Leicester went 1-0 up courtesy of a controversial penalty awarded to and converted by the prolific Jamie Vardy in the crunch Premier League clash on Sunday.

“You see every player can make a difference in this squad and we are happy to have him back”.

Claudio Ranieri’s side are still top by two points but and centre-half Morgan said: “That defeat will not affect our confidence”.

“It was happiness, because I think it was a very high level of energy in the game”. Arsenal are one of these, they have so many good players, they can score in any moment and they have to win the league. The match was full of fouls. “It was a big mental hurdle for the team, we were shocked at half-time”, Wenger said.

Talking about selecting Danny, Wenger said, “It was a great decision because Danny Welbeck is a great player, and you never know in our job if somebody else had come on would he have scored or not. It’s been a tough last three games so we’ll have some time off from football, and come back with a fresh mind raring to go., We’ll be back on it”.

“When they are injuries for two, three or four weeks you can cover that but if you have got more than three or four players have injuries that are five or six months, that takes a lot of time”.
