City keeper Hart makes Torino move on season-long loan

A key figure in a golden age in the Club’s history, Joe has collected as many individual prizes as he has team honours in his decade at the Etihad Stadium.

The England global has been left on the bench for City’s three Premier League matches this season with Willy Caballero starting instead.

And the arrival of Claudio Bravo last week from Barcelona confirmed that Hart has no future at Manchester City, with the player quickly getting down to the business of finding a new club.

Hart had been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Sunderland but was granted permission to skip England training on Tuesday to complete his switch to Torino.

No financial details have been given but reports say City will pay 60 percent of Hart’s salary.

Joe Hart has spoken of his shock at the suddenness of his move away from Manchester City.

“Suddenly, my career has undergone a change, I took it as a sign of destiny, so I had to do something…” the goalkeeper admitted.

“The selection of Torino has come at the right time and in the right way”. I am very happy to be able to compare in a lovely and hard league like Serie A.

“I am very excited to compare myself in an important and attractive league such as Serie A. History of Italian goalkeeper is known everywhere: I am sure I could learn in Torino too”. I have read an interview about Toro and the coach wants humility and ambition.

Cairo said: “Joe Hart is a top worldwide goalkeeper with substantial experience both with Manchester City and with the England national team, in which he even debuted at the age of 21”.

“His transfer to Torino makes us proud and demonstrates our willingness to build a team more competitive”.

The only thing left is the official announcement, because Joe Hart has already joined his new club. “Welcome to Turin, and Always Forza Toro!”

He endured a disappointing summer at Euro 2016, making errors in the games against Wales and Iceland as England crashed out in the round of 16.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper who became out of favour at Manchester Club this season under new manager Pep Guardiola has become the first ever English player to play in the Italian Serie A.

The keeper waved and blew kisses to fans at the final whistle in what could be his final match for the club.

“Bringing Wilfried in was a no-brainer for us to be perfectly honest, because he knows the Premier League and has scored plenty of goals at this level”, said Stoke manager Mark Hughes, referring to Bony’s record of scoring 130 goals in 278 career appearances.
