City not just about Aguero: Pellegrini
Enner Valencia and Sergio Aguero both scored braces in an exciting 2-2 draw, with the Ecuadorian opening the scoring in the first moments of the match, only for Aguero to equalise within a matter of minutes via a penalty. “When there is a throw-in maybe you are not thinking there is danger, but we know Antonio has a long throw”. Pellegrini said: “We must try to arrive as soon as we can at the top of the table”.

“With the last injury I picked up on worldwide duty I carried on playing when I should have come off”, said Aguero, whose side face West Ham today.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed the extent of his attempts to lure Barcelona maestro and close friend Lionel Messi to Manchester.
“The Premier League is so demanding that you can’t play at 80 per cent. I’ve tried to do that before and that’s when I’ve injured myself”.
The Hammers have three attacking absentees, though the injuries to strikers Carroll and Sakho are rather less frustrating than the one sustained by playmaker Lanzini, who was one of the Hammers’ top performers through the first half of the season.
-Sergio Aguero has been involved in eight goals (six goals, two assists) in his eight league appearances against West Ham.
But with the Premier League being extremely tight and competitive this term, Bilic refused to predict where his side are likely to end up at the end of the season.
His double still took his goal tally to four in his last two games and Pellegrini insists Aguero is now firing on all cylinders after a season disrupted by injuries. He is great in every aspect, and I hope he can maintain this kind of performance.
“I’m really proud of the team, and a little disappointed we didn’t win”, said Hammers manager Slaven Bilic.
Manchester City somehow salvaged a 2-2 draw with West Ham United in the Blues final trip to the Boleyn Ground.

“It’s very important for him (Aguero) to be 100 percent fit”, Pellegrini said. Okay, they have other good players in that central position who have cost a lot of money but Kompany is a symbol for City and sorely missed by them, and football in general, because you always want to see the best players. “It was a hard game – I was not happy the way we conceded the second goal”. “It did help me that I trained fully for a couple of weeks, but I know I can get better and will do over the coming games”. “I must keep working in the same way and carrying on in the same vain to make sure that he doesn’t speak in a negative way about me”.
