Clarkson, Hammond & May debate on new show’s title

One of the most popular names for the show has been Gear Knobs, but Clarkson categorically said this was not a possibility.

The video features Clarkson and ex-Top Gear co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May in a spoof brainstorming session for a name ahead of the launch of their new Amazon series in the Autumn.

Three former Top Gear presenters have featured in a hilarious new trailer for their still untitled new auto show. “Clarkson’s suggestions of “Selling England by the Pound” and ‘Watcher of the Skies”, were album and song titles by prog-rock band Genesis, and were promptly shot down. After tweeting a link to the video, he added: “Thanks for your suggestions”.

“Clarkson posted the video to his Twitter account alongside the epically long hashtag: “#TheStillVeryMuchUntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016”.

The first episode of “Top Gear” UK hasn’t even aired yet, but the filming has already brought the center of London to a standstill: Ken Block and Matt LeBlanc drew the ire of members of… The terms haven’t been released but reports suggested Clarkson paid approximately $139,135 in damages.
