The midfielder has been criticised after Chelsea managed just one point from two games last week.

As his career came to an end, Makelele returned to his country for a short spell with club Paris Saint-Germain before announcing retirement.
“They must understand that when arrives a big team it is hard to say no”.
‘You must be a leader. You must work with your team-mates in midfield.
The post Claudio Ranieri: N’Golo Kante Deserves A Warm Welcome appeared first on 360Nobs.com. I do not know.
He claimed at press conference: “Conte is a victor, but of course he needs time”.
Kante drew instant comparisons with Makelele after joining Chelsea from Premier League champions Leicester City in the summer because of his style of play, his size, his role in protecting defences and the fact he is French.
‘He was very important for us and I think he was even more important for us than at Chelsea because Chelsea have so many big players’.
Makelele made a name for himself as a holding midfielder, and his role involved breaking up the play and initiating counter attacks.
Former Chelsea man Makelele is widely regarded as the innovator of the defensive midfielder position across spells at Real Madrid and Chelsea, providing an unbeatable presence in the middle of the park and providing balls to advanced attackers easily.

His efforts in the Foxes’ unexpected triumph earned him a place in the France squad for Euro 2016 and a big-money move to Chelsea, where the 25-year-old is already demonstrating his worth to Antonio Conte’s side.
