The career of England goalkeeper Joe Hart is on the verge of a decisive turn after he was dropped by Manchester City’s new manager Pep Guardiola.
Bravo arrived in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon to complete his move to City, although Guardiola remained coy on the deal.
Asked if there had been any enquiries for Hart, he told a news conference: “I don’t know”. Barcelona, seven to 10 days ago, were the first ones to announce contact with Manchester City. But I’m sorry guys, until the deal is complete or not complete I can’t speak but at the moment the player is not our player.
“After, we will speak about everything – and the situation with Joe, I’ve spoken about”.
“I was pretty sure we would be able to do that”.
“He knows we are here to help him create as many chances as possible and more chances to score goals”, said Guardola.
Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri and Eliaquim Mangala, who like Hart have played no part for City so far this season, were also among the 33 players who trained across two pitches.
“I think Sergio is a great striker, everyone knows that”, the UAE 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup victor was quoted by ESPN FC as saying on Tuesday ahead of their return leg UEFA Champions League second leg fixture against Steaua Bucharest at home on Wednesday”.
“Based on how they feel, never mind from a training point of view – can they go and play at that level having not played for their own team for a considerable amount of time?” noted Allardyce.
“I try to be clear with my players and I was clear with him”. In the end, we select the players in the best form, [that] are fit and playing [but] can we get in the England squad ones who play every week?
“It is impossible to say what is our target or what we can achieve”, the Spaniard said.
‘Until now he’s doing it and when that happens you are involved in defensive tasks and the offensive. Guardiola has overseen victories in his opening three games and progress to the Champions League stage should be confirmed on Wednesday, with last week’s convincing success in Romania leaving the second leg little more than a formality.
“You just attack the ball, maybe block sometimes if the people come and attack the ball”.

“Obviously he’s been criticised a lot in the previous year, but the way he’s responding is great”, said team-mate Kevin De Bruyne.
