Claudio Bravo will not make Manchester City debut against West Ham

Sunderland are also pushing forward for the signature of the 29-year-old goalkeeper, and are at an advantage as they have a good relationship with Manchester City.

Guardiola has signed Bravo as he has major reservations about Hart’s ability to play as the kind of “sweeper-keeper” his preferred system demands.

And City boss Pep Guardiola has warned Hart he will have to get used to being part of a substitute rotation behind Bravo if he fails to find a new club before Wednesday.

“I played for Man City and I enjoyed it and I have done every time I have played for Man City”.

The Citizens have completed nine signings during the current transfer window but Guardiola says goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will be the last new addition they make.

“There’s no interest”, Koeman told reporters on Thursday.

“He’s a good player for us”. When the fans are unhappy, I can completely understand that. “I really appreciate the people of Man City and it turns out they appreciate me”.

The jilted number one is in limbo with next week’s window about to close and no apparent takers for his services. He deserves what he deserves.

Bravo said of his four-year deal: “I’m very proud to be joining Manchester City”. Until now, he is here and a player for us.

When asked about the trio, he said: “We’re working on it”. Some of them we have taken a decision on and they know that and their managers know that. “But situations occur in football”.

Hart has effectively been demoted to third-choice goalkeeper behind new signing Claudio Bravo and his former deputy Willy Caballero as Guardiola looks to offload the England global.

New signing Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero, who is due to start against West Ham United on Sunday, are both above Hart in the pecking order and Guardiola also has youngster Angus Gunn at his disposal. He is fit, having already played for Barcelona already this season.

The Spaniard said at a press conference: “He’s a goalkeeper with a lot of experience in Spain and with the [Chile] national team”. He played at Real Sociedad and then for two years in Barcelona where he played some important games and created something special with his worldwide team-mates at Chile [by winning the Copa America].
