Claudio Ranieri: ‘Leicester City in uncharted territory’
After making the Champions League look like the Checkatrade Trophy (that’s the English Football League Trophy FYI) with a 3-0 win against Club Brugge it’s back to reality for the Foxes.

Leicester marked their debut in the competition with a comprehensive victory at the Jan Breydel Stadium, their first European game in 16 years, to move top of Group G.
“Maybe the [Champions League] music woke up him!” “If they think about the music I ring my bell”, Ranieri said.
“I forget what happened”. Of course that is the new challenge.
“I think Riyad thinks he has to do something extra-special every match but that’s not possible”. I’m used to this because always in my career when something happens it’s finished. Forget Brugge, forget [the 4-1 defeat to] Liverpool.
“We went there [Brugge] to win and we went in with a strong mentality”, Amartey told LCFC TV HD.
“Now we have to stay calm and put our mind to the next match on Saturday”. “I think I’ve a very good feeling with them”.
The squad flew back on Wednesday night and Ranieri insisted they can not have any excuses if they fail to perform on Saturday.
Claudio Ranieri wants his side to focus on the Burnley game. “If Burnley beat us it will be because they are better than us – there are no excuses”.
‘I want to see how we respond, ‘ Ranieri said. He’s formatting it more on what the players offer rather than “I’m the manager, I’m going to tell you what to do”.
Record signing Islam Slimani could make his Premier League debut for Leicester, while Ranieri revealed regular right-back Danny Simpson is fit to return.

Nampalys Mendy is still sidelined with an ankle injury and Matty James is also struggling with an ankle problem of his own but Jeff Schlupp is available after a muscle strain and Shinji Okazaki is fit despite being left out of the squad in Belgium.
