And Walker was delighted by the news after Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly showed interest in the Argentine tactician.

“I want to congratulate everyone connected to Leicester; players, staff, owners and fans”, said Mourinho in a statement. This club is special. I feel the love from the beginning, from the very first day. But for me, it is a good lesson for us, that we need to take and improve. “Now I have a responsibility to help the club through this period with the new stadium and to arrive there with a very good team and to be competitive”.
“Just after the game, after the final whistle, I got a call from Ranieri”, said Hiddink.
Spurs’ hopes of winning a first league title since 1961 are hanging by thread after Leicester’s draw at Manchester United moved the league leaders eight points clear of Pochettino’s side, who travel to Chelsea on Monday.
“We started to speak before, a few months ago, and today I think is a good moment to communicate we have reached the verbal agreement”, Pochettino said.
“Before I judge the incidents I must look very calmly at a video. I want to stay here”, Pochettino told reporters. Tottenham have unbelievable potential. “I need to see the video, we are on the touchlines, it is very hard to see the situations”, Pochettino said.
However, Lloris’ future has been up in the air in recent transfer windows due to Spurs missing out on the Champions League and the reported interest of teams playing in Europe’s top tournament.
One of Pochettino’s greatest successes has been Dele Alli, but the midfielder will miss the rest of the campaign after receiving a three-game ban for punching West Brom’s Claudio Yacob on Monday.
Hiddink also exonerated Tottenham’s players after a bad-tempered clash, which saw a record nine Spurs players booked and the usually composed Pochettino at times lose his cool.

Pochettino is an immensely popular figure in the Tottenham dressing room and it is understood there was a growing nervousness among the players about their head coach’s future.
