Claudio Ranieri: Unpredictable results have been good for the Premier League
The 19-year-old is one for the future, but Klopp revealed he could look to add new faces to the first team if developments such as injuries or departures materialise. “That’s how football works, you need to use and take your chances”.

Leicester City have the Premier League’s two fastest players this season but it was not Jamie Vardy and Jeffrey Schlupp that their manager Claudio Ranieri mentioned when asked whether the surprise Premier League leaders could last the distance in the title race.
With top four qualification seemingly wide open for Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and who knows, Crystal Palace this season, finishing in that top bracket will be vital for Klopp who knows the Reds will be able to attract a higher calibre player in next summer’s transfer window.
“We need to create more moments for all our offensive players”.
Doubts persist over Benteke’s ability to fit Klopp’s style but the manager sat him down at Melwood ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Leicester City and talked him through the adjustments he needs to make.
“Daniel is still doing his little pre-season, his intensive training, and he will do this for seven, eight, nine or 10 days and then we will see what happens then”, said the Reds boss.
Jurgen Klopp has made it clear that Steven Gerrard will not be returning to Liverpool on loan as he is content with the squad he now has.
Klopp knows the task on his hands, pleading in his first press conference: “Please give us time”. I had big fights with myself and bad, bad words for myself in many situations of the game. It has the makings of a superb game which could just get wild and out of control.
“The best thing to say about this game is it was one week ago and is over”.
“If I understand correctly, Leicester were never top of the league at this time so we are very happy”.
“They were in La Manga in Spain, I went there”.
Benteke hasn’t scored a league goal since October and was dropped to the bench for last weekend’s 3-0 thrashing at Watford. “I am not a magician”, he said. “It was good of Klopp to let me see him too, he will be a fantastic manager for Liverpool”.
