His remarks came a day after BJP cracked the whip and suspended cricketer-turned-MP Azad, charging him with indulging in anti-party activities and accusing him of “colluding” with Congress and AAP to bring it to “disrepute”. Azad alleged on Thursday that evidence was “vanishing” from the offices of the DDCA.
BJP chief Amit Shah had ordered Azad’s suspension on Wednesday for publicly targeting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley with allegations of irregularities in DDCA during his tenure.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. who has been at the forefront of the attack on Jaitley, said, “There is no democracy in BJP”.

Meanwhile DDCA will hold meeting on December 26 regarding Kirti Azad’s DDCA membership, said Dinesh Sharma, Joint Secretary, DDCA. But with both Modi and Shah openly backing Jaitley, it was clear Azad’s days in the BJP were numbered.
