Cleveland 1, Twins 0 (final-10 innings)
Will the Cleveland Indians continue to march past the Minnesota Twins when they meet up tonight at 7:10PM ET?

Jason Kipnis slapped a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning of Monday’s win over the Twins.
The loss was the 11th in a row for the Twins. This is so frickin’ annoying because the Twins were so close-even bringing Max Kepler to the plate with the bases loaded in the top of the 10th, but still. Abraham Almonte beat out a drag bunt toward first to start the winning rally.
Then, third baseman Miguel Sano fouled off four pitches to stay alive, and eventually, draw a walk to load the bases.
Indians manager Terry Francona removed Allen, who threw 37 pitches. Dozier on the next pitch ripped a single into right-center field but headed for second, trying to stretch it into a double, and was thrown out by Davis.
Kipnis lined a 1-0 pitch from Brandon Kintzler (0-1) with one out to left-center to finally break up the scoreless game, sending the Twins to their 11th straight loss.
The losing streak is Minnesota’s longest since September 9-21, 2011.
The Indians have also been mired in an extended slump.
That was the case Monday night, because only one run was scored in the game, and the Indians scored it. In the past eight games, Cleveland has scored a total of 17 runs, a fact that is made all the worse by the fact that 12 of them came on Friday night’s game against Texas. The Indians have dropped five of eight so Monday night’s extra inning victory was crucial.
Bauer had a quality outing, throwing six scoreless innings while allowing five hits and striking out four.
Monday: Bauer is 2-1 in his last four starts. Bauer pitched six scoreless innings with five hits, four strikeouts and one walk.
Miller relieved Bauer to open the seventh and worked into some trouble, as two singles put runners on the corners with two outs. Eddie Rosario struck out, but a bloop single to center by Juan Centeno sent Polanco to third.
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Hector Santiago delivers against the Cleveland Indians during the first inning. He suffered the injury when he collided with left fielder Robbie Grossman in the first inning of Sunday’s game.
Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Brandon Kintzler (27) talks with catcher Juan Centeno after giving up a single to Cleveland Indians’ Chris Gimenez during the tenth inning.
A base-running error from Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor in the bottom of the eighth inning kept the game scoreless. Progressive Field has been a magical place for the team this season, but it’s going to take more than one run in 10 innings to turn this homestand into something that inspires confidence.
The Indians’ best chance to score came in the fifth.
Almonte popped out again in the bottom of the fifth on August 29 with Jose Ramirez on second in a 0-0 game.
NOTES: Indians RHP Danny Salazar has been placed on the Paternity List.
Right-hander Shawn Armstrong was recalled from Triple-A Columbus and will work out of the bullpen. The Indians’ team batting average at Progressive Field is 55 points higher than their batting average on the road.
