Manziel was demoted from starter to third string on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, by Pettine, who was upset after a video emerged of the second-year QB partying last week in Texas while the Browns were off.

On Wednesday, Pettine declined to comment on whether Manziel had admitted the video was from the bye weekend, and on Friday Friday, he declined to discuss the situation at all.
During the season, Manziel had a run-in with police after he was involved in a domestic violence dispute with his girlfriend. Manziel promised he wouldn’t embarrass the football organization.
Six games still remain on the schedule, and a lot can happen between now and the end of the season.
Manziel is the great grandson of Texas oil wildcatter Bobby Manziel who grew up in Arkansas and was a sportswriter for the Fort Smith newspaper.
