Cleveland Browns: Trade not indictment of draftable QBs’ talent
It was announced Wednesday Cleveland will trade the Eagles its 2016 first-round selection and a conditional 2017 fourth-round selection for the Eagles’ 2016 first-round selection, third-round selection and fourth-round selection. along with the Eagles’ 2017 first-round pick and a 2018 second-round pick. And we felt like where our roster was, the better decision was to acquire the first next year, the second in ’18 and 2 additional picks here and still be picking at 8. When the Titans possessed the No. 1 pick, it appeared the Browns might have their choice of quarterbacks in this draft class. Now they have moved out of position to select either Goff or Wentz.

Unlike other teams that trade away draft picks in the hopes of finding a franchise quarterback, the Eagles have the luxury of time.
The Rams are expected to draft a quarterback, either Cal’s Jared Goff or North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz.
The initial reaction to the Philadelphia Eagles’ blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday was one heavy skepticism.
The individual most impacted by the Eagles trading up for a quarterback is Bradford, who is still slated to begin the season as the team’s starting signal-caller, according to the team.
“The number one pick gets traded, the number two pick gets traded and Josh Norman gets cut, that’s what happens when you take one week off”, said Fitz. Everybody in Philadelphia should be angry at Eagles’ owner Jeffrey Lurie and GM Howie Roseman.
“This is just stupid, it doesn’t make any sense to me”, said Fitz.
Multiple NFL teams are still searching for starting quarterbacks. We Have now also seen the 2nd overall pick of the draft dealt. I would say no there. Keeping Bradford would allow the Eagles’ rookie signal-caller to sit behind a veteran starter and learn the ropes of the National Football League without having to be prematurely thrown into the fire.
Clemson’s Deshaun Watson is going to be one of the top quarterbacks in the 2017 draft. In the midst of this recent trend of mediocrity, the Rams had been gaining some key pieces, but knew they just weren’t going to get over the bump any time soon.
The Browns’ new front office led by Sashi Brown has placed heavy emphasis on analytics in preparing for this year’s draft and putting together Cleveland’s roster. Of course, they did: They’re the Browns. “You have to be very comfortable with both those quarterbacks and believe they have a shot to be great, to be Pro Bowl caliber”. We want to assemble a young nucleus of talented players and this trade positions us really well.

“At the end of the day, we all know still there is no exact science to it”, Jackson said.
