Clif Bar issues recall over listeria concerns
Kashi Company is expanding its previously announced voluntary recall, as certain products contain ingredients that have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The three products being recalled include CLIF BAR® Nuts & Seeds energy bars, CLIF BAR® Sierra Trail Mix energy bars, and CLIF® Mojo® Mountain Mix® trail mix bars, which are all sold nationally. It includes all date lots.
It’s important to note that General Mills has not received reports of illness linked to any of their Nature Valley products.
The recall included Kashi Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars and Go-Lean Honey Pecan bars.
Products can be returned for a refund or thrown away. 3085, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. PT.
Clif Bar is consulting with the FDA on this voluntary recall.
Kashi Company is recalling Kashi brand Trail Mix Whole Grain Bars from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The products were sold throughout the nation and in Mexico from from September 25 thru April 18.

Consumers with questions can call Hy-Vee Customer Care representatives 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-772-4098. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
