Clinton ‘a little disappointed’ in Sanders’ comments
Like others in the Clinton campaign, Hodges repeatedly refers to Iowa as a win over former Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and brushes past the extremely narrow nature of the victory.

“I don’t really know”, Clinton told Anderson Cooper at CNN’s Democratic forum on Wednesday night. “That’s just not progressive”.
She is aiming to substantially cut into Sanders’s New Hampshire lead and regain some momentum going into friendlier territory later this month in Nevada and SC. Paul Wellstone, a champion of liberal causes, would not be considered progressive.
Unable to resolve the situation, the Sanders campaign challenged the results and when the Democratic Party officials were consulted to find a settlement, they advised a toss which was subsequently won by a Hillary supporter who called “heads”, the report said. The Clinton campaign is pushing for a debate in Pennsylvania, given the state’s importance in the general election. “Um, that’s what they offered”, she said.
Polls show Sanders, who has galvanized a new crop of Democrats, including many younger, first-time, low-income voters in his quest to rid the country of the so-called billionaire class, will likely win the first-in-the-nation primary Tuesday.
The presidential debate Thursday night will reflect a changing Democratic race.
Sanders’ campaign wanted one of the debates to be held in California and another in Brooklyn, New York, and questioned why Clinton, a former New York senator, might be reluctant to debate in her adopted home state.
(CNN)The Democratic presidential hopefuls will make closing arguments to New Hampshire voters Wednesday during a prime-time CNN town hall in Derry – less than one week before votes are cast in the New Hampshire primary. Parker could not confirm whether Santorum is considering abandoning his bid altogether after finishing 11th out of 12 candidates in the Iowa caucus, saying only, “I’m hopeful to get the tour cranked back up soon”.
“I want Trump to win the Republican nomination and I would love the opportunity to run against him”, he said.
But Clinton’s team clearly sees an opening in Sanders’ comment.
“Some days, yes. Except when she announces that she is a moderate”. “I plead guilty”, she told the crowd in Columbus, Ohio. “Some of my best friends are moderates”, he said. But there does seem to be a long-running game in which Clinton can never quite meet the expectations set for her, even if her actual achievements are considerable. But if you take the short view, CNN polled, last week, Bernie Sanders winning Iowa by nine points.
It could be the most heated one to date if Sanders and Clinton continue to go hard after each other, much they have this week and as the campaign has tightened up.
More than 8 in 10 caucus-goers under the age of 30 came to support Sanders, as did almost 6 in 10 of those between 30 and 44, according to a survey conducted for The Associated Press and the media networks by Edison Research.

There is simply more enthusiasm fueling his campaign than Clinton’s, he said. “They don’t have to be for me, I will be for them”.
