Clinton accepts Democratic Party nomination for White House
“You didn’t hear anything like this from Donald Trump at his convention, did you?”

In stark contrast to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s provocative speech last week, Ms Clinton’s was positive, reaffirming and centered on the theme of unity. “Millions!” Trump said today during a campaign appearance in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Hillary Clinton has 100 days to make her case to voters about why they should choose her in November.
“He wants to divide us from the rest of the world and from each other”, she said, mocking Mr Trump’s claim that he alone can “fix” the country.
He also accused Clinton of being dishonest about his abilities as a campaigner. Clinton asserted that Americans have to decide if they are willing to work together, in an effort to thrive together.
During her speech, Clinton said the country was at “a moment of reckoning”, presenting herself as the responsible choice for president instead of Trump.
She went on to promote plans to raise the minimum wage, expand health care and offer free public college for most Americans, all measures which Sanders promoted during the primary.
“It is with humility, determination, and boundless confidence in America’s promise I accept your nomination for the president of the United States”, Clinton told the crowd as she officially became the first woman to lead a major political party’s ticket.
“He loses his cool at the slightest provocation”, she said. “You might have noticed, I love talking about mine”. “I was gonna hit this guy so hard his head would spin and he wouldn’t know what the hell happened”, Trump said. Such a charge would also have been problematic for the young IL senator to have made during the 2008 election, as back then Obama was seen as the more unqualified and inexperienced candidate compared to Hillary Clinton.
“And if companies take tax breaks and then ship jobs overseas, we’ll make them pay us back.
Where’s the outrage?” Trump Jr tweeted.
Regarding terrorism and other national security threats, Clinton pointed to her experience in the White House, as a senator and as secretary of state – a resumé that can’t be matched by Trump, a real estate developer and TV star who has never held office. “He wouldn’t know what the hell happened”, Trump said. “She spent the evening talking down to the American people she’s looked down on her whole life”.
