Questions about Hillary Clinton’s ethics have led Donald Trump to bounce back in the Sunshine State, according to a new poll from Quinnipiac University.
Trump now leads Clinton in Florida 42 percent to 39 percent, in Pennsylvania 43 percent to 41 percent, and is tied in OH 41 percent a piece.
With Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein included, Trump’s 3-point Florida edge grows to 5.
In Ohio, voters say by 47 percent to 37 percent that Trump is more “honest and trustworthy” than Clinton.
Pennsylvania voters cast their support behind Trump when it comes to job creation, but believe Clinton would be better on immigration.
Americans have become increasingly positive about Clinton this month, with half of likely voters now saying they have a favourable view of her, according to the poll, up from 46 per cent on July 1.
Pennsylvania: Trump leads 43 percent to Clinton’s 41 percent.
NBC polls show Clinton’s lead over Trump has narrowed to three points this week.
Hillary Clinton’s standing has taken a tumble in key swing states after an investigation into her controversial email practices brought her biggest weakness with voters into the forefront.
In another poll released by GenForward, the news is less positive for Trump.
Trump spent months “trying to discredit the citizenship and legitimacy of our first black president”, Clinton said of his statements questioning Obama’s birthplace and religion. Independent participants supported Trump by 39-36 percent. But a candidate’s intelligence has not necessarily played a deciding role in recent presidential elections.
Yet Pennsylvania may be an even more valuable swing state for Trump to claim, considering it hasn’t voted Republican since 1992.
Trump is nearing a decision point on his running mate, a choice he’s expected to announce by the end of the week.

“Donald Trump enters the Republican convention on a small roll in the three most important swing states in the country”. In Pennsylvania, Trump leads Clinton by 6 points, 40 to 34 percent, with Johnson at 9 percent and Stein at 3 percent.
