Clinton aide separates from scandal-plagued Weiner
The sources said she did not know about it or details of the latest sexting exchange until this weekend.

Weiner has since deleted his Twitter account, and his website AnthonyWeiner.com appears to be down as well.
Numerous messages were sexual in nature, according to the Post report.
He then is alleged to have sent a picture of a barechested man with white boxers and a bulge, while a small child is asleep beside him.
“You do realize you can see you [r] Weiner in that pic??” the woman wrote. While there are various approaches people can try to change such behavior, she noted, “they have to really be willing to stop”.
Leathers also commented on Weiner’s mental health. Abedin was already under scrutiny for her role “in controversies over Mrs Clinton’s handling of classified information as secretary of state”, the paper says.
A spokesperson for NY1, the 24-hour NY news channel, said in a statement to CNNMoney that “Anthony Weiner is on indefinite leave from the station”.
According to the report, the woman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the electronic chats between her and Weiner began in late January 2015 and continued through earlier this month. Last week, the group Judicial Watch released several previously undisclosed exchanges turned over by Abedin that included a 2009 message to Abedin from Band – an official at the Clinton Foundation at the time – seeking a meeting with Hillary Clinton for the crown prince of Bahrain.
A pair of news outlets, NY1 and The New York Daily News, both suspended or moved to cut ties with Weiner Monday. Anthony Weiner is a bit of a weirdo. Weiner was a contributor for the network and had been a frequent guest on “Inside City Hall”, a nightly politics program.
Duffy, a Trump supporter, said the GOP nominee made “a mistake” in politicizing the news that Weiner texted lewd pictures to a woman, including one that featured his young son. The paper described her as a 40-something divorced woman from the West. Abedin’s friend said the separation from Weiner had been brewing for some time. Ms Abedin often travels with the Clinton campaign.
Abedin is the vice chair of Clinton’s presidential campaign and served as her deputy chief of staff at the US State Department. His 2013 run for mayor of NY collapsed during a second sexting scandal.
Abedin first worked for Clinton in the 1990s as an intern when Clinton was first lady.
Abedin, the vice chairwoman of Clinton’s presidential campaign, ended her toxic relationship that only reminds voters of what her boss also put up with by turning a blind eye to Bill’s wandering ways.
Two years later Weiner said he wanted to put his sordid past behind him as he launched a bid for the NY mayoralty and asked the public for a second chance.
In this photo taken January 5, 2011, then-New York Rep. Anthony Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, an aide to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are pictured after a ceremonial swearing in of the 112th Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington.

Inside Edition has interviewed Anthony Weiner’s former sexting partner Sydney Elaine Leathers, the woman responsible for toppling Weiner’s 2013 NY mayoral campaign. And he’s just been caught at it again. During his run for mayor, Weiner, had adopted the online pseudonym “Carlos Danger”.
