Clinton ally says Sanders slights minorities in new ad

But she downplayed the differences among Democratic candidates.

With 13 days to go, it’s Hillary Clinton’s nightmare scenario-the possibility that Bernie Sanders’ youth brigade could topple her in Iowa.

Bernie Sanders outperforms Hillary Clinton in head-to-head match-ups with top Republican presidential candidates in New Hampshire, a CNN/WMUR poll shows.

By putting Sullivan in front of the camera-and on a conference call with reporters Thursday afternoon to discuss the video-the campaign frees Clinton from mounting this attack herself and coming across as excessively critical of her popular opponent.

She also has lost significant support among Democratic women, with her lead over Sanders shrinking from 45 points to 19 points in that group.

Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy said, “I think the term socialist doesn’t make it easier to win”.

“Really Senator Sanders?” Clinton asked, going on to question how the candidate could say the groups “are part of “the establishment” he pledged to take on in his bid for the presidency. Shortly after his appearance at SNHU in Hooksett, CNN released another poll showing Sanders leading Clinton in Iowa, too, 51 to 43 percent.

Clinton had led most public opinion polls in Iowa.

“I’ll tell you, I’m not interested in ideas that sound good on paper but will never make it in the real world”, Clinton said, drawing applause from more than 500 voters at Simpson College. While Clinton now has 359 superdelegates supporting her, Sanders only has eight.

In the Republican race, Trump leads Cruz by 11 points, 37-26 percent. “Our position as capital of the Iowa caucuses has generated countless professional experiences for students and helped prepare them to be engaged global citizens”. She reiterated her stance that she would defend and improve President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

Hillary can talk the talk about income inequality and produce TV ads assuring us she is on the little guy’s side, but this simply doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

Even still, audience members said they appreciated the seriousness she brought to the event.

Clinton’s strongest support, meanwhile, comes from voters aged 50 and older, the survey found.

At Sunday’s debate, Sanders said it was time for the United States to “move as aggressively as we can to normalize relations with Iran, understanding that Iran’s behavior in so many ways in something that we disagree with”.
