“How do I sum up and give thanks for 32 years of friendship from RVA [Richmond, Virginia]?”.

“We don’t need a “Me, first” candidate!” he shouted amid cheers. “You’re going to win Virginia, and then you’re going to be president”. “Why did that happen?” he asked. “He definitely recognizes that people are humans first and color second”.

“We were frantic”, Harris recalled.

“All indications are that he is in communication with us, he is interested in outreach to the Hispanic community, and he is interested in the plight of our constituencies”, he added. “It has been painful, it has been slow”.

If Kaine ends up being punished for playing by rules of a system that voters now condemn, “that’s where the public is”, Penniman said.

“In both of our families, faith wasn’t just something you talked about at church on Sundays”, Clinton said in a recent campaign in Miami, Florida, as quoted by NBC News.

“I don’t care whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, or an independent”, Kaine said, “it’s much better to live in a state where nobody can take you for granted”. Heading to Daytona Beach Florida on Tuesday and Greensboro, NC on Wednesday. “Is there no limit to what he will say?” said Kaine.

“Everything I know and everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned from you”, Kaine said.

Clinton and Kaine were joined by their spouses, Bill Clinton and Anne Holton, on Friday, which started with a mid-day rally in Philadelphia.

MI is considered a potential battleground state as Trump looks to pull votes from disaffected white working class votes throughout the Rust Belt, even though the state hasn’t backed a Republican presidential candidate since 1988. Am I not allowed to respond?

Kirsten Holmes, a teacher from Richmond who branded Kaine a “leader with passion”, suggested his recent attacks on Trump are warranted.

Responding to reports that Trump kicked a crying baby out of a rally in Northern Virginia, Kaine said: “Sometimes you wonder who the baby is”. “We did very well”, he said.

Kaine is expected to speak at the office opening. “But Virginia voters do recognize him as the political chameleon he has become”.

“Donald Trump, on the other hand, he not only doesn’t want to do immigration reform, he wants to kick a whole lot of skilled people out of the country”, Kaine said. That wasn’t a picture of the United States.
