Clinton attacks Sanders on foreign policy experience
Bernie Sanders takes control of the Democratic race in the critical first-in-the-nation voting state, according to a new CNN/ORC poll released Thursday. Bernie Sanders, while major organizations that had their leaders decide have typically opted for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, reported the Intercept Friday.

In December, Clinton led Sanders in Iowa by 18 points in CNN/ORC’s polling, 54 percent to 36 percent.
The Democratic front-runner told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room” that Sanders’ charge that Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign support Clinton because they are all part of the establishment didn’t make sense to her.
“Senator Sanders doesn’t talk much about foreign policy, but when he does it raises concerns because sometimes it can sound like he really hasn’t thought it through”.
“I know what it is like to run from behind in New Hampshire and I know what it is like to come from behind and win in New Hampshire”, Clinton said, raising her voice at the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws’ Pro-Choice Roe v. Wade Dinner.
Her latest attack comes just 11 days before the first votes of the primary season and with the polls showing the race getting closer each day.
“So if the question is, can a Bernie Sanders and what he stands for, and the fight for economic and social justice carry over to the general election and millions of working people?” “Yet the overwhelming majority of voters have not seen you on one stage; jousting for the greater good”.
Clinton has had to tread carefully on ObamaCare throughout her campaign: Democrats support the law, but are increasingly willing to acknowledge that it doesn’t address the rising out-of-pocket costs.
“I think it would be a mistake to offer normalized relations”, Clinton said, saying her commitment to the Iran nuclear deal is strong. “I think the evidence is that it can”, he asserted.
The crowd Thursday night included young women who like Clinton and are excited about the historic nature of her candidacy.
While Obama had several key surrogates in 2008, including Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine and Missouri Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a former governor, and her firepower will be on display this weekend in Iowa, with Senate Democrats like Kaine, Cory Booker of New Jersey and Kirsten Gillibrand of NY rallying supporters on her behalf.

As she had before, Clinton also pledged to overturn the Hyde Amendment, a measure that bars the use of federal funds being spent on abortions in most cases.
