Those are just a few of the harsh words used to describe how Matt Lauer moderated NBC’s first Commander-in-Chief Forum with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The republican candidate blasting American military leaders.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is once against praising Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Wednesday night calling him a “leader” and saying Putin has “great control over his country”.

Clinton and Trump participated in a wide-ranging forum Wednesday night hosted by NBC/MSNBC, in which Trump seemed to discuss some of what he had learned in his two classified intelligence briefings. And so we must learn what led us down that path so that it never happens again. “We are going to defeat ISIS without committing ground troops”. “Having been through a few of these election cycles, I think Hillary Clinton will probably win, but I think the odds of her winning are like 3-1, not 20-1”.
In response to a tweet that called the Democratic nominee “angry + defensive the entire time – no smile and uncomfortable – upset that she was caught wrongly sending our secrets”, Clinton wrote, “Actually, that’s just what taking the office of President seriously looks like”. He didn’t do it on the Iraq War. Now, my opponent was for the war in Iraq. He says he wasn’t.
“As briefly as you can?”
There is no evidence to date that shows Trump came out against the Iraq War early on, and in fact, he initially said he supported the conflict. Are you for invading Iraq. “Maybe he did it with a smile and I guess the RNC would have liked that”.
She added: “I view force as a last resort, not a first choice”. She admitted her mistakes. I would certainly not do it again.
However, in a follow up question, Trump said he has full faith in the military.

NBC has yet to comment on Lauer’s performance. Not to kick them out. Part of the problem is nobody gets prosecuted. That might work, he gives plenty of opportunities for people to have severe doubts about whether he should be president of the United States. And every time he speaks, that opinion is confirmed.
