Clinton Blasts Trump For Appearing On Russian TV And Praising Putin
Clinton also echoed her campaign on Friday when she urged her supporters – some of whom paid $50,000 to attend the fundraiser with Streisand – to not get complacent. He was referring to recent incidents in which Iranian boats harassed Navy destroyers near the Strait of Hormuz.

An organizer said that the event raised at least $3.1 million.
She then concluded, “Every Republican holding or seeking office in this country should be asked if they agree with Donald Trump”. Now, that is not just unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country, as well as to our commander-in-chief.
Speaking at a fundraiser on Friday night in New York, Clinton said Trump had given voice to hateful rhetoric through his behaviour as a candidate for the White House.
Another tidbit: Republican voters view Hillary Clinton (-86) and Barack Obama (-74) far more unfavorably than Putin (-27), and Democratic voters also view Trump (-75) more unfavorably than the Russian president (-54).
Trump himself tweeted: “Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of incredible, hard-working people”.
Some of those people were irredeemable, she said, but they did not represent America. “She would actually be a disaster”, Trump said. “Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic – you name it”, she said. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton each took a turn answering questions from Lauer and the audience, which consisted only of military veterans and active service members.
She later added, “Hillary, placing people in ‘baskets, ‘ slandering them but admitting after 8 yrs, they are “desperate for change”.
“They are American and they deserve our respect”.
The Democratic candidate went on to denounce Trump’s declaration at the forum that under the Obama administration, American generals had been “reduced to rubble”. Responding to a question, Trump called Clinton a “bad person” and alleged that she would be a “disaster” for evangelicals. “And she wouldn’t be prosecuted”. Trump was criticized for being sluggish to condemn Duke’s support. “I think there is a lot more we can do, and it will be on the top of my list in dealing with China on how we’re going to prevent what very well could be a serious conflict with North Korea”, she said. “It’s like incredible”, he said. On Tuesday, during a short swing through California, Clinton will make remarks about “building an inclusive economy” and, in a speech later next week, she will issue a call to national service. And he has lifted them up.
“Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of awesome, hard working people”. They won’t wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroin, feel like they’re in a dead end. “Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well”. In defending her on Saturday, Clinton’s running mate, Tim Kaine, said the “deplorables” comment was about that. “And their supporters appear to make up half his crowd, when you observe the tone of his events”.
Comments about voters – especially at private fundraisers – have tripped up presidential hopefuls in the past.
Clinton now has an 83 percent chance of winning the election by an average of 47 votes in the Electoral College, the body that ultimately selects the president.
Rob Stutzman, a Sacramento-based GOP consultant, said Trump could have avoided giving his opponents an opening if he had been more careful with his language.

But Clinton also offered a more sharply defined vision for the wielding of American power than Trump who, pardon the pun, often seemed lost at sea during his allotted screen-time.
