Clinton blasts Trump’s comments on military generals and Putin

The republican presidential nominee said the Russian president is a better leader than the U.S. president Barack Obama.

In a Thursday interview with Larry King that aired on a TV station funded by the Kremlin, Trump said the Russian government “probably” did not meddle in the American presidential race, and that the Clinton camp’s suggestion otherwise was politically motivated.

But in the wake of a performance at Wednesday night’s NBC “Commander-in-Chief Forum” that some observers saw as sub-par, Clinton appeared to have decided it was finally time to meet the demands of her press corps.

The candidates are virtually neck-and-neck with just two months to go until the election, with the CNN poll putting Mr Trump at 45 per cent to Mrs Clinton’s 43 per cent.

Independent voters are leaning in Mr. Trump’s favor – 43 percent to 41 percent, according to the poll. “It is scary. It is unsafe”, she said.

Asked whether he’d be comfortable with Trump as president, Ryan demurred, “I’ll leave it at that”. “He is getting 14 percent from OH voters and how that cohort eventually votes could be critical in this swing state and in the nation”, Brown said. “I don’t know anything about it”, Trump said in response.

Pence also defended Trump’s remark that “the generals have been reduced to rubble”.

Clinton’s Victory Fund raises money for the Democratic National Committee, the Clinton campaign, and Democratic committees from 32 states and Puerto Rico, as Peter Overby reported earlier this year. “I find it frustrating, but it is just part of the landscape that we live in and we just keep forging ahead”.

“Here is what is important, I now have more endorsements from retired flag officers than any Democrat other than an incumbent president has ever had”, Clinton said. The last Quinnipiac poll of OH, released almost a month ago, showed Clinton with a 2-point lead among likely Buckeye State voters, as well as a 4-point advantage in a head-to-head matchup with Trump. We could cite many more examples of Moscow’s machinations. Miller said Clinton “failed” at the forum, claiming she was unable to “answer for her bad foreign policy judgment”.

“Because that would not be appropriate at all”, Trump added.
