Clinton calls Trump comment on security briefing “undisciplined”
Trump and Clinton will square off directly in their first presidential debate on September 26, with two more scheduled before the November 8 election.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are deadlocked in the key battleground states of OH and Florida, a pair of polls released Thursday showed.
Trump said Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has “been a leader far more than our president has been a leader”. As Silver says, though, most people (me included) are focused on on the margin between Clinton and Trump, not the large proportion of votes still potentially up for grabs. “But you should. None of us is ideal”, Clinton said. Clinton’s campaign manager went on to attack Trump this morning on “GMA”, arguing that Trump doesn’t have a strategy to combat ISIS. Would your message as the next president of the United States or potential next president be to Americans that we simply are living in the reality that those attacks will happen?
The university’s polling institute also released swing-state polls Thursday showing Clinton holding modest leads in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
According to RealClearPolitics’ current projections, even winning all four states highlighted in this poll won’t be enough to clinch the presidency for Trump.
Trump’s remarks about Putin amounted to him saying he preferred Putin to Obama, Clinton said.
“You’ve got to make sure you’re doing it to both candidates with the same set of rules”, Jamieson said.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign was spitting mad that the NBC host devoted one-third of her time on stage to asking a series of questions about her email practices as secretary of state, leaving her with less time to talk about pressing national security issues.
The reference to voting rights was one of several appeals Clinton made to black voters, who polls show overwhelmingly support her over Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Some of Trump’s foreign policy positions, such as his proposal to fight terrorism by imposing a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country, have alarmed not just Democrats but many in his own party’s leadership. Trump continued to deny claims that he backed the Iraq War, pointing to an interview he gave with Esquire magazine in August 2004, over a year after the war started, when he said that the conflict was a mess. At a speech in Cleveland, he tagged his Democratic opponent with a new nickname – “trigger-happy Hillary” and repeated his incorrect claim that he opposed the war in Iraq “from the beginning”.
Clinton has said in the past that ISIS is using Republican presidential nominee’s comments to recruit new terrorists, but she has never directly said that the terrorist group is rooting for his candidacy. “That’s not only risky, it should be disqualifying”.
“Not only did the moderator, Matt Lauer, fail to fact-check Trump – he then kept the conversation moving”, the email read. If the spoilers had voted for our Republican candidate, the count would have been Trump, 44.10 percent and Clinton 45 percent. To cap it all off, he even praised Putin for being so popular.

In that interview, Trump said: “I think the Iraqi situation is a problem”.
