Clinton Calls Trump’s Lack of ISIS Plan ‘Disqualifying’

“That is not just unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country, as well as to our commander-in-chief, it is scary”, Clinton said yesterday while taking questions from reporters for about 16 minutes on the tarmac of a White Plains, N.Y., airport. Jezebel: “Matt Lauer to Hillary Clinton: How Will You Defeat ISIS And Don’t Talk So Much”.

Clinton elaborated on those remarks at the Thursday press conference, saying putting a significant number of U.S. troops on the ground in Iraq and Syria would “fulfill one of (ISIS’) dearest wishes which is to drag the United States back into a ground war in that region”.

“Clinton has made mistakes and displayed bad judgment, but her errors are plainly in a different universe than her opponent’s”, the editorial said.

“The main thing is: I have great judgment”, Trump said in response to a question as what he has done in his life that prepared him to send America’s men and women into harm’s way.

“They have been reduced to a point that’s embarrassing for our country”, Trump said at NBC’s “Commander-in-Chief” forum in NY attended by military veterans.

She also flushed out several national security priorities if she is elected, including trying to take out the leader of Islamic State, also known as Isis, and vowing to defeat the extremist group without putting USA troops on the ground in Iraq or Syria. Trump also said Wednesday night he thinks that under the “leadership of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the generals have been reduced to rubble” and, in the past, he has claimed to “know more about ISIS than the generals”.

“I just watched her on the tarmac”, he said. “Sometimes it’s really hard for me”. On the day last week when Trump met with the Mexican president and gave a fiery immigration speech in Arizona, more than $5 million poured in, the campaign said.

For instance, Mr. Trump said he has a plan to quickly defeat the Islamic State (IS), but when asked for details, he replied: “I have a plan”. But no. Lauer also failed to follow up on two other Trump comments that would have sunk the candidacies of any other major-party candidate for president. And for the first time, he opened the door to granting legal status to people living in the USA illegally who join the military. Meanwhile, Trump’s false assertion, that he never supported the 2003 USA invasion of Iraq, went unchallenged.

Wednesday’s forum served as a preview of sorts for Clinton and Trump’s highly-anticipated presidential debates.

“Every time he speaks” he shows why he shouldn’t be commander-in-chief, he said.
