Clinton Camp: Russia Leaked DNC Emails to Help Trump
It wasn’t until the DNC spotted additional red flags that the committee hired help from an outside party.

As it happens, skeptics in the US government, European allies in the anti-Islamic State coalition and the main Syrian opposition, distrustful of Russia’s intentions, are questioning Secretary of State John Kerry’s own latest proposal for closer U.S.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation says it is looking into the hacking of the Democratic National Committee computer system, after the website WikiLeaks published thousands of internal emails on the eve of the party’s convention.
“I talked to the general counsel of the DNC today and he assures me that every step along the way when we were notified of these issues that we changed systems, changed procedures”, said DNC vice chairwoman Donna Brazile to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. One has to leave open the possibility that, given the proficiency of the hackers and the amount of time they spent undetected, they obtained access to information that hasn’t been released yet.
Could this U.S. presidential election get any more freaky?
The Kremlin snapped back Tuesday at allegations that Russia hacked the Democratic party’s email database to sway the USA election-without denying the Russian government was behind the attack.
The leak triggered the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, also initiating a discussion of the Russian intelligence agencies’ role in the hack. Exposing secrets to foreign governments is a serious matter.
Almost 20,000 emails and more than 8,000 attachments from the DNC were released by WikiLeaks on July 22, exposing details of Clinton’s presidential campaign. The group didn’t identify the source.
Political columnist George Will alleged Monday night that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will not release his tax returns out of fear that they could possibly show “he is deeply involved in dealing with Russian Federation oligarchs”. No similar intrusions have so far been detected at the RNC or the campaigns of the two major party candidates, the officials say.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman has laughed off suggestions that Russia was behind the hack of emails from the U.S. Democratic Party, warning journalists not to make him use unprintable words, state news agency Itar-Tass reports.
“And I think that Trump’s gotten pretty favorable coverage back in Russian Federation”. Though WikiLeaks has denied the Russian government provided the documents to the group but will not say where they came from. Trump said. “Wouldn’t it be nice if we got together with Russian Federation and knocked the hell out of ISIS?” he added, using another name for Islamic State.
Among the officials whose emails were made public are DNC spokesman Luis Miranda, national finance director Jordon Kaplan and finance chief Scott Comer, but other DNC and media figures and even some White House officials communicated with them between January 2015 and last May, Wikileaks said.
Peskov also mocked references to Russian Federation in the USA presidential campaign. Determining attribution takes investigative work, which is ongoing, she said.

The latest comments bolster claims, seized upon by some in the Hillary Clinton camp, that the Russians were involved in the breach. “I guarantee we’ll find the 33,000 emails”, referring to the emails Clinton said she deleted from her private server.
