“We reject backing Hillary without some explanation”, Miers said.

Democratic officials say the emails were hacked from their official computers by “Russian state actors”, a claim some US computer experts say was possible, but a contention mocked by Trump. As she began talking, though, audience members wearing Bernie Sanders shirts started shouting and yelling, waving signs that said “Thanks for the “Help” Debbie” and signs that simply read “e-mails”. It’s just the evidence is out now.

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook blames “Russian state actors” of hacking the DNC. “And they weren’t willing to let that go”.

The revelations created further division within the Democratic Party at the national convention as Sanders supporters protested what they say amounts to an unfair, rigged system, and some vowing not to stand behind Clinton. If Tim Canova is able to pull off a primary upset over Debbie Wasserman Schultz, it means one less corporate Democrat in the House of Representative, and one more progressive in there fighting for very strong progressive ideals that the Bernie Sander movement has been all about since the beginning. There’s still a lot to process.

But getting some of those supporters to throw their energy into campaigning for Clinton seemed to fall on more than a few deaf ears.

Silverman was one of a number of prominent entertainers who backed Sanders in the Democratic primary against Hillary Clinton.

Henson and Albert were working on their first campaign and weren’t ready Monday to announce a switch to Clinton.

Drawing loud cheers throughout, Sanders offered a detailed comparison of Clinton and Republican Donald Trump on an array of policy issues, portraying the election as a simple choice.

Angela Wilson, of Owasso, who has been active in Oklahoma politics, said, “I’m behind (Clinton) 100 percent”.

“I truly feel that the DNC had their candidate picked”. “Well, clearly, I favor her opponent”, said Sanders in a statement.

Sanders’ appeal was enough for Deborah Adams, of Cheraw, South Carolina, who served as a whip for the 14 Sanders delegates from her state’s delegation.

“I am going to be respectful of you and I want you to be respectful of me”, Fudge said after being interrupted beforehand.
