Clinton Campaign Labels Christie’s Accusations ‘A Witch Hunt’

Chris Christie held a mock prosecution for Hillary Clinton during his speech on Day 2 of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Tuesday.

Some Republicans had urged Christie to run for president that year, but he declined to enter the race.

Christie’s biggest mistake in his fun game of make-believe was failing to realize he’s the last person who should be touting these claims against Clinton’s character, as he’s had some legal investigations himself.

“The problem is the attorney general is so compromised ethically, she can’t say one way or the other because she made a decision to take a meeting”, said Christie. Trump personally contributed $3.8 million and forgave another $45.7 million he had previously loaned the committee, the filing shows.

“Lock her up, lock her up”, the crowd chanted as Christie served them red meat, slamming Clinton on her foreign-policy experience as Secretary of State.

“We found no evidence that any of the additional work-related e-mails were intentionally deleted in an effort to hide them”, he said during his news conference.

Clinton wrote a college thesis about Alinsky and has said she agreed with some of his opinions on social change, but disagreed with his view that the system could only be changed from the outside.

Trump’s campaign has worked to sow distrust by using vague insinuations against Clinton that are hard to prove or disprove.

After every charge-sheet, the cheering crowd pronounced her “guilty” shouting “lock her up”. Yes, he was talking about Donald Trump.

Listing off the countries that are now undergoing unrest as a result of her record as America’s top diplomat, Christie said Clinton’s effort to get the Iranians to the negotiation table led to the Iran nuclear deal, the “worst nuclear deal in history”.

“Time after time after time, the facts, and just the facts, lead you to the same verdict both around the world and here at home”, Christie said. “The FBI director said, that’s untrue”, Christie said. We asked members of the Arkansas delegation in Cleveland if this election is more about campaigning against Clinton, or campaigning for Donald Trump as the best candidate. And we need to pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow.

“In the plainest terms I know”, Ryan said, “it is all on the line”. “So I’m disappointed, no doubt I was disappointed, but I’m over it”. The chant is popular among Trump supporters who say Clinton should have been prosecuted over the email issue. Recalling that Clinton brought a symbolic “reset” button on U.S.-Russia relations on her first visit, Christie opined that “the button should have read, “delete”- she is very good at that – because she deleted in four years what it took 40 years to build”.
