Clinton campaign looks to focus more on her, less on Trump
The endorsement was foreshadowed in a Tuesday editorial piece titled “Donald Trump is no Republican”.

Josh Holmes, former campaign manager for Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and president of consulting firm Cavalry LLC, said the trend shows Republicans are running smart campaigns considering the hard environment they face.
A lot of voters are having trouble deciding who to vote for as almost one in five voters nationwide report themselves as undecided or flirting with third-party candidates, a media report said. “But Hillary Clinton has a terrifying track record”.
“They are saying ‘oh, please Allah, make Trump president of America.’ So I’m not interested in giving aid and comfort to their evil ambitions”. The Lone Star State has sided with the Republican nominee in presidential elections for 40 years. Fifty-three percent say that Trump and his campaign have unfairly attacked his Democratic rival, and 43 percent say that Clinton has unfairly attacked Trump. At every stop, Clinton argues that Trump is temperamentally unfit to serve as commander-in-chief, warning that his bluster would damage the nation’s longstanding alliances.
On August 8, that poll showed Clinton at 50 percent, Trump and 37 percent and all other candidates an undecided at 13 percent.
Reflecting the unusual nature of the campaign, two-thirds of voters say they’re more interested in watching the debates this year than in previous election cycles. His own temperament, Trump said, was his “single greatest asset” and not the national security danger that Clinton alleges. Furthermore, Clinton remains not only ahead but pretty comfortably ahead in states that would be enough to provide her with a majority of electoral college votes.
“I think it’s quite intriguing that this activity has happened around the time Trump became the nominee”, she said.
Clinton debuted her new campaign plane – with the slogan “Stronger Together” emblazoned on the side – and brought the press corps aboard her jet for the first time.
Beyond new spending on troops and naval assets, Trump will also call for additions to sea-based missile defense. Will Donald Trump continue to increase his polling numbers while Hillary Clinton’s numbers decline?
Clinton sat down with the blog late last month and in comments published on Thursday, the former secretary of state expanded on perceptions that she can sometimes come off as “cold or unemotional”, describing her struggle to control her emotions without seeming “walled off”.
Clinton has yet to release a full list of senior officers backing her presidential bid, but several former generals have made their support for her public, including the former commander of US forces in Afghanistan, US Marine Gen. John Allen, as well as US Army four-star generals Bob Sennewald and David Maddox.
The book retails on Amazon for $10.98 and the campaign has said the proceeds will go to charity.
White voters favor Trump by a 12-point margin, but, as in other states, whites divide sharply along educational lines.

Clinton has dealt with coughing fits before, but Monday’s among the most disruptive. Then a poll on Wednesday found registered voters now view Clinton about as negatively as they view Trump.
