Belgian police said late on Thursday three people were being held for questioning as part of an investigation into the plot. Security concerns had already caused New Year celebrations to be cancelled or limited in other European cities.

The campaign says that puts her total raised in 2015 to spend on the presidential primary campaign at $112 million.

Clinton’s fourth-quarter amount exceeded the $28 million she raised in the three months that ended September 30.

Sanders, who has rejected the support of a “super PAC”, amassed an army of small-dollar donations in raising about $26.2 million in the previous quarter, when Clinton raised $29.9 million.

But following a marathon, 11-hour hearing on the national security ramifications of her personal server use, Clinton emerged from the scandal relatively unscathed, and her campaign reported their most lucrative fundraising hour in the hour after the hearing. Of that money, $37 million was raised for the campaign and $18 million was raised for the Democratic party.

Aides to the Democratic frontrunner say that many of these donors were women-and 94% of the donations were in increments of $100 or less. “It will be the largest voter turnout ever – she will be swamped!” he tweeted. Former President Bill Clinton had headlined fundraisers as well.

Clinton isn’t alone in releasing some selective details ahead of that schedule. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) destroys Republican candidate Donald Trump in a general election by 13 proportion points.
