“She has spent the day catching up on reading briefings, making calls, and she watched President (Barack) Obama’s speech in Philadelphia on TV”, her spokesman Nick Merrill said, according to CNN. So far, the businessman has only released a widely mocked letter from his longtime physician declaring he would be the healthiest president in history.

The show does not air until Thursday and the campaign declined to immediately disclose the results. Trump’s campaign has not made a copy of the summary public ahead of the airing, nor is it certain he will do so after. Trump, who is tall at 1.9 meters (6 feet 3 inches), said he weighs 107 kilograms (236 pounds), which is overweight by US health care standards.

In a statement, the show said “Dr Oz took Mr Trump through a full review of systems”. After an embarrassing round of press involving Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis, the Democratic nominee’s team released some medical reports.

The September race is unexpectedly rough for Clinton.

The campaign plans to share the information on Thursday.

Questions about the health of both candidates have been at the forefront of the campaign in recent days, after Ms Clinton was caught on camera struggling to walk as she left a 9/11 memorial event in NY on Sunday.

The former secretary of state later emerged from her daughter’s nearby apartment, saying she was “feeling great”, but several hours later, her campaign revealed she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and advised to rest.

Trump’s campaign on Thursday released a letter from his doctor outlining the results from his latest physical.

The campaign said she had a chest scan on Friday that showed a “mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia”.

Hillary Clinton released additional documentation on Wednesday afternoon that depicts her as a healthy 68-year-old woman in an attempt to tamp down concerns about her health following last week’s pneumonia diagnosis. The letter did not state when she received those vaccines.

A detailed letter about her treatment is going to be released by the campaign later on Wednesday – but the rest of her complete physical exam is said to be “normal”.

“My overall impression is that Mrs. Clinton has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions this year other than a sinus and ear infection and her recently diagnosed pneumonia”, she wrote.
