In a statement, the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign ridiculed Clinton’s swing through Pennsylvania, noting that the Johnstown region had lost a significant number of manufacturing jobs since the North American Free Trade Agreement took effect during Bill Clinton’s presidency.
“We know that if we’re smart about it, we can bring jobs back from China and other places if we make up our minds to do that, just like that’s happened here”, Clinton said.
“I’ve made a lot of sacrifices”. “We know that people are hurting”, the chairman said.
Clinton, a former first lady and US senator, promised in her speech on Thursday to make the United States a country that works for everyone if she is elected.
He added: “Sure those are sacrifices”.
Trump also reiterated his criticism of Khan’s wife, Ghazala, who stood silently on stage, wearing a headscarf. Clinton didn’t mention that Zandi’s report, meanwhile, said it is “unrealistic” to think Congress would pass all of her proposals.
Ghazala Khan has said she didn’t speak because she’s still overwhelmed by her grief and can’t even look at photos of her son without crying.
In her remarks at Temple University, Clinton vowed to break the gridlock in Washington during her first 100 days of presidency.
Trump’s campaign sees a narrow path to victory for the candidate who unexpectedly won the Republican primary, acknowledging at times that Rust Belt states like Pennsylvania and OH are critical to his success. Democrats hammered home those themes this week with an array of politicians, celebrities, gun-violence victims, law enforcement officers and activists of all races and sexual orientation. Mr Trump is expected to visit the state on Monday.

The two parallel operations are expecting to involve staffs of several hundred and there were questions whether Mr Trump, who already has a bare-boned campaign infrastructure by usual standards, would be able to build his up fast enough. The state has voted Democratic in each presidential election from 1992 forward, including both terms of former president Bill Clinton, based largely on Democratic strength in cities and union households.

Kaine stated that he will, with no doubt, trust his son’s safety to Clinton when she becomes commander in chief. “We have an obligation to take the model of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, I think, and spread that out through the west”.
