Clinton could face mounting problem with health overhaul
On the positive side, approximately 20 million more Americans have coverage today than before the ACA was passed.

“When Tennesseans woke up on Wednesday morning and opened up our state’s largest newspaper, the front page headline read, ‘Very near collapse, ‘” he said in the GOP’s weekly address”.
Saur’s tax penalty for being uninsured was a bit more than $600 previous year, while the cheapest health plan she examined cost about as much for three months in premiums – and came with a $7,000 deductible. “Next year, it’s $333 a month”.
Tennessee had to take extreme measures to allow these increases because insurance companies told the state if you don’t let us file for rate increases, we will have to leave. If that happened, Tennesseans might have had only one insurer to choose from.
That’s what’s happening in states all over the country, as Obamacare plans and rates get locked in for next year.
UnitedHealthcare was the first to do so, and the nations largest health insurer announced earlier this year that it will no longer sell coverage on exchanges in 34 states.
The new study, by the Kaiser Family Foundation, suggests there could be just one option for coverage in 31% of counties in 2017, and there may be only two in another 31%. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services also has to approve rates for insurers selling on Obamacares exchanges.
Enrollment in the insurance exchanges for President Barack Obama’s signature health care law is at less than half the initial forecast, pushing several major insurance companies to stop offering health plans in certain markets because of significant financial losses.
Many insurance companies, like Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of DE and Aetna in DE, have attributed their proposed double-digit rate hikes to the end of the federal transitional reinsurance program and high medical costs from their customers.
In other words, the next Congress-no matter who is president-will have to deal with the mess that Obamacare is causing in our states and the pain it is causing the American people.
Americans have a choice this election.
You know exactly what Democrats will do if they are in charge. Democrats will increase Washington’s control of your private health insurance choices.
Republicans have offered a better idea. The government’s plans to create more ACA options with standard deductibles, maximum out-of-pocket spending limits and co-payments will help on the cost side. “I think the public option is more likely to be tested at a state level”, Sebelius said. While there have been bumps in the ACA’s rollout, many more Americans have made a decision to enter and enroll in the health insurance exchanges than originally expected.

For years we have heard how the Republicans are against the ACC, yet they have not produced one piece of paper on how to improve it.
