Clinton debuts new Boeing 737 campaign plane
The Commission on Presidential Debates announced the names of the moderators for the three exchanges between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump and the single event involving the candidates for vice president. It’s a message, analysts say, is created to downplay associations with the white nationalist “alt-right” online community, erase his questioning of President Obama’s citizenship, and counter statements by a former adviser that Trump had stayed out of black neighborhoods because they were unsafe.

What has changed that allowed Trump to make up a large amount of ground in the polls against Clinton?
NBC News chief anchor Lester Holt will moderate the first scheduled presidential debate on September 26. And even those that survey likely voters have different ways of estimating who is likely to cast a ballot.
Trump has vowed to win MI and has made three trips to the state since the Republican National Convention in July.
GOP congressional candidates used the same argument late in the 1996 campaign, when GOP presidential candidate Bob Dole headed toward defeat against Democratic President Bill Clinton.
Donald Trump’s campaign is set to visit Detroit, Michigan on Saturday to reach out to African-American voters. Yes, it’s hard to see how anyone can win the presidency on the white vote alone. The “born-again” white evangelical vote accounted for just a quarter of the overall electorate – same as the total Catholic vote that includes millions of Hispanics, Asians and African-Americans. It is ironic, in fact, that Trump has taken out after Colin Kaepernick, saying the 49ers quarterback should find another country if he doesn’t want to stand for the national anthem when it is Trump who’s said that America is “going to hell”. 1, 2 and 3 on that list. She told Politico, “At the end of the day, our choices in November are Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, and I’m not voting for Hillary Clinton”.
There is also some evidence that Trump may be galvanizing Latinos to turn out. There is a receptive audience for change among voters exhausted of eight years of Democratic rule and 25 years of the Clinton family.
But more revelations about her private email server or the Clinton Foundation could reinforce the perception that she’s not trustworthy. But that’s the way to win an election.
“There was so much hope”, Jacob Monty told The New York Times. Every moment now should be about trying to convince voters that he has the temperament and stability to be president.
One outlier: After 24 years in Congress, Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., lost her primary to Al Lawson, a former state senator from Tallahassee.
Still, Clinton bets that Trump’s atypical GOP profile gives her some opening. The Clinton camp is claiming that the Benghazi emails are duplicates even as it gears up for more revelations from WikiLeaks; organization leader Julian Assange has said the American press supports a “demon” in Clinton. She also is the beneficiary of demographic and resultant electoral college shifts in the country (more on that below). The aversion to Clinton is so massive among GOP base voters that they are beginning to rally to Trump’s cause despite having major issues with much of what he says and lingering questions about how committed he is to the conservative cause.
Also hitting the road are her running mate Tim Kaine and current Vice President Joe Biden, who stumped for Hillary in Pennsylvania, and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, who attends events in MI and Ohio. “It’s tricky because there are clearly a whole bunch of Republicans and moderate-leaning independents available to her that she’d like to get”.
Coming up are the first debates. These are essential to understanding the American passage this year, and how they play out will be essential in determining who occupies the White House next January.
Following his speech in Phoenix, the Republican National Committee is reported to have withheld planned praise. “When two-thirds of the people think she’s dishonest and untrustworthy, that’s a real problem”.

Salvanto said Clinton’s email scandal, which heated up again this week with the release of the Federal Bureau of Investigation report showing more of her excuses being refuted, contributed to the persistent mistrust voters have toward her. Forty-six percent of likely battleground state voters in the poll said Clinton’s answers were getting less believable over time, compared to seven percent who said more believable. And given Trump’s troubles, the temptation to coast is understandable.
