Clinton defends email handling at national security forum
“The more that Donald Trump can stay on message, not get in fights with other Republicans or unnecessary squabbles that squander valuable campaign days between now and November, the less likely that Trump will see Republican incumbents and candidates bailing on him”, Bonjean, a partner at ROKK solutions, said told The Hill in an interview.

Responding to a question, Trump called Clinton a “bad person” and alleged that she would be a “disaster” for evangelicals. “And I think I would have a very, very good relationship with Russia”, Trump said at a “commander-in-chief” forum on the decommissioned USS Intrepid, now a floating museum.
He said: “I did learn that our leadership – Barack Obama – did not follow what our experts and our truly – when they call it intelligence, it’s there for a reason – what our experts said to do”.
Standing in front of a row of American flags and white pillars resembling those at the White House, Hillary Clinton touted support from national security leaders, reminded the country of her role in killing Osama bin Laden, and chastised – with a touch of theatrical flare – her Republican opponent as clueless and entirely out of his element. Pence called it “inarguable” that Putin is a stronger leader than the USA president.
Obama, who was in Laos for a summit with South East Asia leaders and his final trip to east Asia, said that Trump holds contradictory and “outright wacky ideas” and is “uninformed”.
But when CNN pressed the speaker if he had concerns about Trump’s high regard for Putin, Ryan dodged.
Among voters overall, Trump does slightly better than Clinton (40 percent to 39 percent) on the handling of veterans issues.
“Every Republican holding or seeking office in this country should be asked if they agree with Donald Trump about these statements”, Clinton said in a morning news conference. And yes, they do like to do that. “When you speak, it should actually reflect thought out policy you can implement”. Let’s start with the generals. “In nearly every instance, I could tell – I’m pretty good with the body language – they were not happy”.
She argued that “we are in a stronger position than we would have been to deal with this malicious behavior because of the nuclear agreement” and that ” would rather be dealing with Iran’s continuing aggressive behavior without them being weeks away from (nuclear) breakout which is where they were” before the agreement.
As for the Obama-Putin comment, it’s one thing to try to defend Obama’s effectiveness as a leader.
Clearly, Obama was not too happy about Trump praising his Russian counterpart. “Far more than our president has been a leader”, he said.

While Trump and his advisers have argued that Clinton did not learn from the mistakes of the Iraq War, which she voted for as a senator, and drove the U.S. into another blunder by arguing in favor of military intervention in Libya, Trump supported both of those military interventions. This is par for the course with Hillary, of course, and as usual she’s counting on her media stenographers to spread the false word on her behalf.
