At a rally last week in Cleveland, Clinton had a brief coughing fit on stage. The Clinton campaign had not disclosed her pneumonia diagnosis until Bardack’s statement. “She was put on antibiotics and advised to rest and modify her schedule”. Clinton was taking antibiotics and had become overheated and dehydrated while at the September 11 ceremony. “I just saw the secretary waiting for the van and the van came and she can’t walk inside and she gets helped”.

Update (5:52 p.m. ET): Clinton’s doctor said in a statement that Clinton had been dealing with pneumonia since Friday.
Trump, a real estate mogul seeking his first elected office, and some of his supporters have claimed that Clinton is not healthy, allegations her campaign has rebuffed. One video appeared to show the candidate stumbling as she was helped into a van. Her knees appear to buckle as she is steadied on either side by agents.
Clinton then went to her daughter Chelsea’s apartment nearby and later emerged, telling reporters that she was “feeling great”.
There was no word from the campaign on whether she would go ahead with her plans to campaign in the Las Vegas area on Wednesday, or whether she might do other campaign events closer to home Monday and Tuesday.
Critics and Donald Trump reporters who have repeatedly questioned Clinton’s health immediately seized upon the episode.
But the businessman, his spokesmen and surrogates have promoted the idea in recent weeks that Mrs Clinton has serious health problems. Yet Trump, who is 70, has been able to effectively make Clinton’s health into a political issue while there’s been far less scrutiny of his physical condition.
The episode, and the delayed disclosure, feed into Trump’s line of attack and may reinforce voter mistrust of Clinton stemming from her penchant for secrecy as well as revelations about her use of private e-mail while secretary of state and ties with donors to her family’s foundation. She later cancelled a California fundraising trip.
While they have yet to actually address the ongoing rumors of Clinton’s health, the campaign is likely going to be forced to do so soon, since it’s no longer simply deranged conspiracy theorists yelling about a few stray pillows.
