Clinton disparages Trump’s economic plan, vows to help workers
The goal of her speech Thursday afternoon at manufacturing company in Warren, Michigan, was to play up her focus on job development, public works projects and tax policy while trying to undercut the Republican nominee’s approach.

She slammed Mr Trump’s “casual cruelty to a gold star family”, referring to the billionaire’s clash with the parents of a Muslim American soldier who was killed in action. When he visited Detroit on Monday he talked only of failure, poverty and crime.
She spoke in rust-belt MI at Futuramic Tool & Engineering – an auto parts supplier that remade itself into an aerospace company – to stress the kinds of advanced manufacturing jobs we need to help rebuild America’s middle class.
Clinton also attacked Republican rival Donald Trump’s tax proposals, saying they will benefit him personally as well as some of the richest taxpayers in the United States.
Clinton and Kaine aren’t alone in their pursuit to pressure Trump to release his taxes.
“The answer is not to rant and rave, or cut ourselves off from the world”, she told a crowd of factory workers.
Both candidates chose tightly contested MI – specifically, the Detroit area – to make their updated economic pitches.
Editor’s note: NPR fact-checked Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s economic speech on Monday.
She cited analysis that found Trump’s positions would lose over 3 million jobs, while hers would create over 10 million.
“We will also help cities like Detroit and Flint connect underserved neighborhoods to opportunity expanding, affordable housing, and we will fix schools and failed water systems as well“, she said to cheers from the crowd of blue collar workers.
Trump has previously criticized Clinton for supporting the Iraq War in 2003 while she was a USA senator.
“I may or may not be calling the shots next year”, McConnell said. Instead, she laid out how her economic plan is better than his and how she’s the steady candidate in the race. He further has repeatedly criticized Clinton for her handling of a siege on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012.
“I can provide serious, steady leadership that can find common ground and build on it based on hard but respectful bargaining”, she said. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.
On Wednesday he drew attention to the emergence of emails from Clinton’s use of a private server when she was secretary of state during President Barack Obama’s first term, from 2009-2013.
In short, Trump “hasn’t offered any credible solutions for the very real economic challenges we face”, Clinton went on.
Clinton said she would stand up to China and any other country who “tries to take advantage of American workers and companies”.

“I mean, if it is true, that’s OK too because all I have to do is stop funding the Republican Party”, he told Fox News.
