Clinton E-mail Scandal: FBI Discovers 15000 More E-mails
The conversation between Clinton and Powell was first reported by The New York Times, based on an excerpt from an upcoming book about Bill Clinton’s post-presidential years by Joe Conason.

Given the large volume of messages, Olson said it was “extremely ambitious” for the agency to complete its review and begin releasing the first batches of emails to Judicial Watch by October 14. She later apologized, saying: “I take responsibility”.
Clinton, who faces Republican Donald Trump in the November 8 US presidential election, has been dogged for more than a year about questions over her use of private email account and a personal computer server while she was secretary of state from 2009-2013, during President Barack Obama’s first term.
Olson told the judge that State earlier this month received seven disks containing “tens of thousands” of emails Clinton sent or received during her tenure as the nation’s top diplomat.
The State Department has promised to publish the documents and on Monday assured federal Judge James E. Boasberg, who is hearing the case, that the department is “giving priority” to reviewing the new e-mail messages.
The new documents are believed to consist chiefly of emails to or from Clinton, said a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity, and may include a mix of personal and work emails. When will State release them? The FBI recommended against criminal charges for Clinton, but Clinton has been widely criticized by Republicans over the issue.
The FBI has discovered nearly 15,000 unrevealed documents linked to the e-mail scandal surrounding Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, US media reports said on Monday.
“Even worse, this news comes on the heels of the Clinton camp falsely trying to pin her email woes on Colin Powell, raising serious questions about whether she lied to the Federal Bureau of Investigation”.
“He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department”, his office told NBC on Friday.
Powell and aides to his successor as secretary of state in the Bush administration, Condoleezza Rice, received some classified information via personal email accounts, Reuters has reported.
The email exchange occurred in 2009, according to the Times.
It’s unclear how numerous documents are emails.
The ex-president said in the event of another Clinton presidency, the foundation’s work, funding and his role in it would raise questions that would need to be resolved “in a way that keeps the good work going while eliminating legitimate concerns about potential conflicts of interest”.
