Clinton email server handed over to Federal Bureau of Investigation
Hillary Clinton’s run for the presidency might be a multi-faceted prism – that’s “prism”, not “prison” – that may yet emerge as a finely polished gem, but any way you gaze upon it just now, it’s dispersing a troublesome light for the Democratic frontrunner.

Clinton’s email problems are getting worse.
But with the FBI now reviewing the security of her email system, Clinton changed course – agreeing to turn over to the Justice Department the entire server and a thumb drive containing copies of the emails.
Clinton said she’d provide the server after an independent government watchdog group told Congress that it contained “top secret” emails.
In a lengthy statement and on her campaign website, Clinton detailed on Friday that she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, paid more than $43 million in federal taxes from 2007 to 2014, over $13 million in state taxes and donated almost $15 million to charity over the same period.
Let’s be plain: It may yet come to nothing, and future historians will regard the affair as a footnote in the otherwise Renaissance-like era of Hillary Clinton’s presidency.
Her use of private email has been a major issue in the presidential race.
“I read that statement, and it’s easier to read Egyptian hieroglyphics than it is to parse the words that her lawyer wrote in that statement”, Gowdy said. She has said the server account never held classified information.
The reversal comes as her chief Democratic rival, Vermont Sen.
Senator Bernie Sanders, who leads her in the key early primary state of New Hampshire, according to a new Boston Herald poll released on Wednesday.
“I didn’t advise her to say the record is complete and then we find 15 emails where they weren’t”. “Secretary Clinton’s previous statements that she possessed no classified information were patently untrue”, Boehner told NBC.
Expect Clinton defenders to claim the emails were categorized as top secret only after she turned them over. “People were free to ask about anything, and nobody asked about emails”, he said. Mills, who did not have a personal email account hosted on Clinton’s private email server, turned over some emails on June 25 and planned to hand more over on Monday.
Democrats have accused Gowdy’s committee of mission creep. The final installment, on January 29, 2016, will arrive three days before the Iowa caucuses on February 1.
UNITED NATIONS – Amnesty global is accusing U.N. peacekeepers of indiscriminately killing a 16-year-old boy and his father and raping a 12-year-old girl in separate incidents in Central African Republic, the latest in a series of misconduct allegations against peacekeepers there.
“Federal investigators have begun looking into the security of Clinton’s email setup after the inspector general of the U.S. intelligence agencies said that classified information may have passed through the system”.
Even so, the rules covering the release of classified material are subject to interpretation and nuance. The newly added legal aspect could prompt them to ramp up their attacks in new ways, too, including calling for court action against Clinton.
