Clinton expects Wis appearance with Obama to be rescheduled

He claimed that there are Muslims living here who “know who they are” and said it was time to “turn them in”.

Omar Mateen, 29, was killed in a firefight with a SWAT team at about 5 a.m. Sunday after he opened fire at an Orlando nightclub, killing 49 people and wounding 53 others in the worst mass shooting in US history. There are many, many people, thousands of people already in our country that are sick with hate. They don’t report these people.

“Keep in mind, we have another entire term of this potential confusion if the vote is not allowed this year”.

“The communities that we’re talking about, they know about this guy”.

In both style and substance, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton offered drastically different proposals Monday for stemming the threat of terrorism and gun violence that have Americans on edge following the deadly weekend attacks at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Obama, speaking in the Oval Office after meeting with the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, said the attack appears similar to the shooting late past year in San Bernardino, California, though he added that “we don’t yet know”.

Mr. Sanders so far has not conceded defeat, even though Ms. Clinton recently clinched the nomination and won endorsements from President Barack Obama and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren of MA – a favourite of the same left-leaning voters who supported him. On Sunday, she waited for the president to declare the shooting an “act of terror” before doing the same. He did not talk about religious extremists. “People can not believe that President Obama is acting the way he is and can not even mention radical Islam”.

Meanwhile, Clinton, 68, described the Orlando mass shooting as an act of terror and called for redoubling of efforts to defeat global terror groups.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (L) listens to U.S. President Barack Obama speak during a meeting with members of his cabinet at the White House in Washington November 28, 2012. The official was familiar with the investigation but not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

In a separate interview on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends”, also on Monday, Trump continued to criticize the Obama administration’s anti-terror efforts and even hinted at some hidden motivation for Obama.

But as voters begin seriously weighing Clinton and Trump as their next commander in chief, Sunday’s shooting left little doubt that the choice between the two candidates is stark. “Our leadership is weak and ineffective”. Trump first called for the ban when announcing his campaign for the Republican nomination, and reiterated it again on Sunday.

It was one of several tweets that drew criticism online for their told-you-so tone. “We must be smart!” he had written earlier.

His focus on Trump was particularly noteworthy, especially since he refrained from making the case-the one he and his allies have been making for months-that he is better positioned than Clinton to defeat the presumptive GOP nominee in the general election. I used to say it with a smile, maybe is it possible at the very early stages, and the more you’re thinking, a thing like that could never happen.

On Friday, Mr Trump accused Mrs Clinton of failing to understand the gravity of the risk posed by Syrian refugees in a speech to a conservative Christian group. “You have thousands of shooters like this with the same mentality … and we’re bringing thousands back into the country … people coming in from Syria who we have no idea who they are, as to their paper work, where they came from. We need to get these weapons of war off the streets”.
