Clinton fit to serve as President, says doctor
The Clinton campaign also released a one-page report on vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine based on an examination conducted February 12. She’s staying at her home in NY while her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and daughter, Chelsea Clinton, appear on the trail in her place.

The Clinton camp then released a letter from her doctor that revealed she was diagnosed with mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia last Friday. Clinton was treated with Levaquin, which she was advised to take for 10 days.
In an ever-tightening, increasingly negative presidential campaign, a new national poll by Quinnipiac University shows Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump are virtually tied when third-party candidates are included in the race.
The new disclosure follows Clinton’s recent bout with pneumonia and her faintness at the 9/11 memorial service, which was captured on video and led to intense media coverage of her health. Her letter also described various medications that Clinton is taking, including Coumadin, a blood-thinner.
Bardack has evaluated the former USA secretary of state several times, including on Wednesday, after a chest scan on Friday detected her pneumonia.
News of Mr Trump’s media-savvy appearance on The Dr Oz Show – though it appeared to reveal little detail – flooded the U.S. airwaves on Wednesday, upping the pressure on Mrs Clinton to share more health data before returning to the trail on Thursday with appearances in North Carolina and Washington.
Asked why she had taken more than 48 hours to disclose the diagnosis, Ms Clinton told CNN on Tuesday that she “didn’t think it was going to be that big a deal”. That is to say, the news of Clinton’s illness may have made her supporters less enthusiastic about even answering polls, so they’d naturally show up less often in the results. She had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound.
Clinton, 68, has blood pressure of 100 over 70.
Bardack said Clinton is up to date on all vaccines, including two given to help prevent pneumonia – Prevnar and Pneumovax. After consultation with her hematologist, it was decided again not to change her anticoagulation to a newer agent. Meanwhile, her team has called on Trump to release his own personal information.
The Clinton campaign released a statement from Clinton’s longtime doctor Dr. Lisa Bardack.
Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is in “overall excellent health”, according to a letter the campaign also released Wednesday from his doctor, Brian Monahan, the attending physician of Congress. Huckabee Sanders said she did not see the summary Trump showed Oz, but “he self-admitted he could lose a few pounds”. Independent voters said they were troubled by the remarks, and those already leaning toward Trump said they felt more strongly about their candidate.

The letter also noted that Clinton had a sinus and ear infection, motivating doctors to surgically place a tube in her left ear.
