Clinton flies with traveling press corps for first time
Underscoring Ohio’s importance on this traditional campaign kickoff weekend, Donald Trump and his running mate are making a series of surprise visits today just a few miles from where Hillary Clinton and her running mate are campaigning this afternoon.

Until now, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence has been the only one of the four presidential and vice presidential nominees to have this set-up.
Trump has been helped by what his campaign said was a positive week last week, highlighted by a quick trip to Mexico, appearing side by side with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, and a visit to a black church in Detroit.
Clinton remained in a strong position to win the White House race, but Trump and his team cited his growing strength in opinion polls nationally and in several states where the election is likely to be chose to argue that his message is breaking through to voters.
“We’re going to continue to stay stronger together”.
Ohio, the nation’s top presidential bellwether since 1900, has been regarded as somewhat less of a battleground this year by some experts who point to the importance of such states as Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
“This is like Watergate only now in cyber time”, Clinton said, echoing a comment Tim Kaine, her vice presidential nominee, made. The AP’s analysis focused on people with private interests and excluded her meetings or calls with USA federal employees or foreign government representatives.
Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that President Barack Obama called her when negotiators had reached a deal on Iran’s nuclear program.
Trump told reporters that he is open to inviting them on his plane more often.
Trump told reporters that he does plan to take part in all three presidential debates, joking that only a “hurricane” or “natural disaster” would prevent him from attending.
He’s expected to deliver remarks about Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and celebrate the contributions of American workers and organized labor. As he left Cleveland for his next stop in Youngstown, Trump extended a rare invitation to a handful of journalists on his private jet, and said that “on occasion”, he will invite journalists to travel with him.
Donald Trump says America’s manufacturing jobs are “going to hell”. “Voters who traditionally have not voted Republican or haven’t even voted in a very long time seem to be coming out to support this messenger and this message”.
“It will take a lot of jobs, and a lot of people to do that”, Ms. Clinton said.
As if that’s weren’t enough attention on the Buckeye State, former President Bill Clinton is attending an AFL-CIO picnic in Cincinnati.
Hillary Clinton’s father also ran a small business.
Greeting reporters traveling aboard her campaign plane before takeoff, Clinton said, “Welcome to our big plane!” She has not held a formal news conference with journalists since December 2015 in Iowa.
Clinton was flying to events in OH and IL on Monday in a light blue-and-white campaign plane with her press corps.

“There’s a renewed focus on Hillary Clinton and her problems, which I think has been beneficial”, said Matt Borges, the chairman of Ohio’s Republican Party.
