See more of Trump’s interview Sunday on “This Week”.
Trump said this individual “came out of nowhere” and had done work with him in the past.
In one of several attacks on her Republican rival, she warned of “powerful forces threatening to pull us apart”, saying Mr Trump wants Americans to fear the future and fear each other.
“I am not satisfied with the status quo”.
“Because when any barrier falls in America, it clears the way for everyone”, Clinton said.
“There were plans, we have a plan, we know what her vision is and it’s filled with hope for our future and not just our future but our children’s future and our grandchildren’s future”, said delegate Charlene Fernandez.
Hillary Clinton’s depiction of the country starkly contrasts Trump’s, Heller argues.
Trump also said divisions still linger within the Democratic Party even after a convention that saw Clinton and her primary contender Sen.
MSNBC finished second for the second straight night, with 5.3. million viewers.
Biden suggested that to elect Trump president would be to betray this country’s values. “We can not elect a man who exploits our fears of ISIS and other terrorists, who has no plan whatsoever to make us safer, a man who embraces the tactics of our enemies – torture, religious intolerance”, he said. A new Trump ad says the billionaire businessman offers “change that makes America great again” – while Clinton-Kaine say he’s offering “empty promises”.
The timing of the interview is not insignificant.
IT is official! It will be Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton vs Republican nominee Donald Trump in the final stretch of the race to the White House after both were officially nominated in their respective party conventions during the past two weeks.
And the candidate wants to push that message with the interview.
The line was not a one-off olive branch to Republicans, either.
Earlier in the night, Doug Elmets, a former aide to Ronald Reagan, tried to cut into comparisons made between Trump and the Republican icon and former president.
I’m not sure she succeeded in reintroducing herself to the American public – at least not as well as her husband, her daughter and a bunch of ordinary people she had helped did over the course of the convention – but she reminded us that she is a serious, hard-working, very well-prepared public servant who is committed to social justice and strength overseas. Trump’s history, his spinning of the truth, and his shabby business practices, among other negatives, provide enough ammunition for the Democrats to win. “We will not ban a religions, we will work with all Americans and our allies to fight and defeat terrorism”.
