Clinton Going For The Young Crowd

Sanders called that nonsense.

Hillary’s ad is a hard-driving, thoroughly convincing narrative about her qualifications, and her ability to beat back the Republicans, but not much different from Sanders’ ad, diversity-wise.

Clinton’s selective argument of only talking about time served in the Senate does not do her any favors, in part because that is exactly the kind of thing Bernie Sanders has warned his voters not to fall prey to. “Our government belongs to all of us and not just a handful of billionaire campaign contributors”. “He later was forced to apologize for his lies about her”, said Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs.

With the latest batch of polls showing Bernie Sanders, in the wake of his feisty showing in Sunday’s debate against Clinton in Charleston, SC, gaining on her in both early primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, and nationally, the Clinton campaign and the leadership in the Democratic Party seem to have lost both their minds and whatever principles they may have had.

A WMUR-TV/CNN poll out this week showed Sanders surging to a whopping 27-point lead.

The board is scheduled to decide next week whether to endorse her candidacy in the February 1 Democratic caucus.

“Sen. Sanders doesn’t talk very much about foreign policy”.

Tad Devine, Sanders’ senior media adviser, said Republicans are engaged in misguided “mischief” that shows their “disconnect with what’s going on with voters”. If she falls in Iowa and New Hampshire, Clinton’s myopic 2016 strategy will prove every bit as bad as the long-game approach she took in 2008. His campaign released a feel-good television ad portraying his bid as an optimistic populist movement that is generating far more enthusiasm than Clinton is. And she’s tagged him with flip-flopping on gun control.

“His heart was in the right place”, Clinton said.

Mark Gardner, 24, of Manchester, said he first heard about Sanders during the Occupy Wall Street movement.

“I wish there were more polls out there”, he said, noting that the small number of O’Malley supporters likely makes the margin of error of any single poll higher. “It’s all about the fact he’s paid for by the people”.

Aides to the Clinton campaign declined multiple requests for comment. “A vote for Bernie is a vote for passion”.

On Thursday, Clinton’s campaign denounced her presidential rival Bernie Sanders over his proposal to normalize relations with Iran. “We should fix the infrastructure of our country”. Look at the size of my crowds, the volunteers-we have the energy heading into the general election.

But even in Southern states, Democrats increasingly see a path for Sanders to cobble together a coalition of liberal whites, independents and younger black supporters who might minimize Clinton’s advantage and allow him to pick up delegates. While Sanders demanded the governor’s head, he noted, Hillary Clinton contacted the mayor and scrambled to help demand the money for a fix. “No bank too big to fail, no executive too big to jail”, Clinton said.

The campaign has been hearing this a lot, and a candidate who once promised to focus only on policy is devoting a growing share of his stump speech to trying to convince people that his message of political revolution is more than just wishful thinking.
