Chelsea Clinton will also outline how the campaign of Republican candidate Donald Trump has denigrated women and people of many backgrounds including Latinos, African-Americans and people with disabilities.
Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, is attending events in MI and Ohio.
Trump allowed a small pool of reporters and photographers to join him aboard his private plane Monday between campaign stops in OH – a first, which came on the same day Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton took her inaugural flight on a plane with her entire traveling press corps.
Clinton debuted her new campaign plane, with the slogan “Stronger Together” emblazoned in big blue letters on the side, that will carry her through to the November 8 election, and it hosted guests whom she has been reluctant to travel with until now: reporters.
“If Trump loses OH he loses the race”, Brown told AFP.
Any immigrants who want full citizenship must return to their countries of origin and get in the queue, he told reporters – but he would not rule out a pathway to legal status for the millions living in the U.S. illegally, as he did in a long-awaited policy speech last week. But of the millions more living in the country illegally, he would not rule out a pathway to legal status.
“I’m ready. I’m more than ready”, she said of the intense, two-month battle ahead as she attempts to become the first female U.S. commander in chief. “To return home and apply for re-entry”.
“We are going to have to take those threats and attacks seriously”, she told reporters travelling with her from OH to IL.
In a bid to boost turnout among a traditionally Democratic constituency, Clinton ticked off a list of policy proposals aimed at lifting working-class families and warned that Trump does not have their best interests in mind, citing what she characterized as a long record as a businessman of “stiffing” contractors he employed. “But I feel like at this point in history, a candidate like Trump, who is running on reactionary economics, tax breaks for the wealthy and cutting programs for the very poor – who rejects the science of climate change – is running on a core of bigotry”.
The disclosure from Bondi’s spokesman to The Associated Press in June provided additional details around the unusual circumstances of Trump’s $25,000 donation to Bondi.
Trump visited a predominantly black church in Detroit on Saturday in a rare appearance with minority voters, aiming to counter Clinton’s argument to moderate and suburban voters that he has allowed a racist fringe to influence his candidacy.
“Many of the attorney generals turned that case down ’cause I’ll win that case in court”, he said. “I’ve been just waiting for this moment”, said Clinton, perhaps in gentle jest, to three dozen media members in the back of her plane.
Trump said he plans to take part in all three presidential debates against rival Hillary Clinton.
Democrat Clinton maintains an edge over Republican flagbearer Trump in national polls, has dramatically deeper ground operations in swing states, and trounced Trump in August fundraising.
Previously, Clinton and the reporters had travelled separately. “I think it’s an important element of what we’re doing”.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump hit the trail, as did their surrogates, spread out in key states. Sanders was making his first campaign stops for Clinton since the party’s convention in July.
Trump is also in Cleveland, as he met with voters on Labor Day at a diner and talked with labor leaders. “She doesn’t have a clue”.
After hinting last month that he might not participate in all of them, Trump told reporters he was on board. “You need energy, man”. It is a grueling process.
QUESTION: Are you doing a lot of prep work?
Trump has alluded to Clinton’s health, saying she lacks the “physical stamina” for the job. “I’m not concerned about the conspiracy theories”.
Donald Trump put out a tweet today about our nominee for president and the tweet essentially said, ‘She doesn’t look presidential, does she, fellas?’ Listen to that again, listen to that again. She reminded them, “One thing you know from my doctor’s letter is I have seasonal allergies”. We’re going to build the wall.
