In 2015, the Clinton’s paid $3.24 million in federal income taxes, amounting to effective tax rate as 34%, according to the Clinton campaign.

“Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine continue to set the standard for financial transparency”, Clinton campaign aide Jennifer Palmieri said in a statement.
Clinton has been highly critical of Trump for his failure to disclose personal financial information, hinting it is because he does not pay a very high percentage of his income in taxes and that he may not be as wealthy as he says he is.
The reality TV star and real estate mogul denied inciting his followers to kill Hillary Clinton, having previously condoned calls to “lock her up”.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said that her Republican rival, Donald Trump incited violence when he said gun rights supporters could stop her from winning. In 2015, that number dropped by more than half, as they together reported $10.7 million. The Clintons also donated roughly a tenth (9.8 percent) of their annual income to charity.
Clinton’s running mate, Senator Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, released the last ten years of their income taxes, which showed they paid effective federal, state and local tax rates that ranged from 18.7% to 29.1%.
Empire State voters also say Clinton is more qualified to be commander in chief than Trump. The couple’s tax forms show that to be a pretty profitable enterprise: the former president earned $1.7 million in consulting fees last year – but that is down from $6.4 million the year before. In 2015 the couple made 3,441 and paid a combined effective tax rate of 25.6%. He has refused to make his filings public, saying they’re under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and he’ll release them only once that review is complete. The Clintons paid $43.9 million in federal taxes over those years – an average tax rate that works out to 31.6 percent.
Earlier this month, billionaire investor Warren Buffett, a Clinton supporter, challenged Trump to make his tax returns public.
Rep. Steve King (R-IA) spoke at Iowa State Fair Thursday in Des Moines, and he included a mention of how he would respond to Hillary Clinton as president.
Hillary raked in nearly $1.5 million in six paid speeches while Bill made more than $5 million for his talks. Mr Trump is the first presidential nominee since Gerald Ford in 1976 to refuse to publish his returns.
